SHINHWA, Super Junior, Block B, AOA and Roy Kim Heat Up KCON LA 2015

Fourth Kpop performer for KCON LA 2015 is revealed. Singer and song writer, Roy Kim, will join Super Junior, Block B, AOA and Shinhwa for the annually KPOP festival in LA. Roy Kim is known as hot singer with his popular song ‘Bom Bom Bom’, ‘October Rain’ and so on. He also lent his voice for hits drama ‘Pinocchio’ with soundtrack ‘Pinocchio’. Though he went to Kpop showbiz through singing competition ‘Superstar K4’, he spent his young days in Canada and United States, and still studying in Georgetown University.

KCON LA 2015 will be held on July 31 until August 2. It will be held at the Staples Center and Los Angeles Convention Center. The concert itself will be held on Saturday and Sunday (August 1-2).

While KCON New York Concert 2015 will be enlivened by SNSD and VIXX. It will be held on August 8  at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

Chloe Moretz Cursed in Korean Satoori, Bold Eating and Dance on SNL Korea

Adorable American young actress, Chloe Moretz, showed off her skill on TvN ‘Saturday Night Live’ Korea. She showed herself as a true actress. She did not even awkward to act and spoke Korean Satoori. She took a part on SNL on a skit where she act as herself and interviewed by Korean singer, Eric Nam. While she was interviewed, people kept interfere her moment.

She was asked to speak like Korean, eat like Korean, dance Korean hits song “Gangnam Style’, and even cursing in satoori. She spoke hangul without doubt that amazed her host. See her expressions when she asked to eat, speak and dance.

Chloe Moretz Date Eric Nam for ‘We Got Married’

The young American actress Chloe Moretz will accompany Korean singer, Eric Nam, for Korean reality show ‘We Got Married’. The actress who had begin her acting career at age 7, had starred in worldwide movies such as The Amityville Horror, (500) Days of Summer, Diary of Wimpy Kid, Hugo, Dark Shadows, The Equalizer and many more. Chloe Moretz landed in Korea on May 20th and immediately shoot for MBC’s ‘We Got Married’ with Eric Nam.

Eric Nam gave Moretz  Seoul tour. They went to Hapjeong, Garosu-gil and most visited shopping area in Myeong-dong.The young actress was amazed with atmosphere in Seoul. She even update her instagram with “Seoul, you never stop amazing us,”. On the other side, Eric Nam update his instagram with picture of him and Moretz.

Eric Nam gave his best ‘teeth smile’ while Chloe Moretz looked gorgeous with red flower outer. Moretz didn’t look tired even though she just landed to Korea from US.

She took her time in Seoul to visit several Korean TV program such as ‘We Got Married’ and ‘Saturday Night Live Korea’, get Seoul tour, and also try Korean traditional dress, Hanbok. Her bother, Trevor, accompany her during her visit.

Girls Generation Set on KCON NY Artists Line Up

SM’s famous girl group, Girl generation, is confirmed as Kpop idol who will attend KCON NY. KCON NY releases their first artists line to be Girls Generation. Girl Generation get their fame in US and recognized when their song ‘MR.MR’ got rank  110 on the Billboard 200. And also their MV ‘Catch Me If You Can’ become one of US most viewed Kpop MV in youtube.

Girl Generation will heat up East Coast this summer with their performances. This opportunity will be their first performance in New York after SM Town Live Concert in 2011.

Kpop Artists are Donating for Nepal’s Earthquake Victim

A desolate story came from Nepal on April 25. A destructive earthquake broke Nepal. It was confirmed that 7.8 magnitude earthquake hit many area of the country. It was the worst earthquake for Nepal since 1934. It was reported that more than 7,200 people were killed and more than 14,000 people injured, included missing person.

Many countries in the world are lending their hand to help the victims. From India, Japan, Turkey, Ukraine, UK and also Korea National Disaster Rescue unit came to Nepal to help government searching for victims and helping injured people. Though Nepal official government said they will focus on relief and rehabilitate the country and no longer need rescue teams from abroad, donations are still flow through the country. It is used to rehabilitate people homes and civil facilitation.

Kpop industry also grieve for Nepal as their artists and fans are together donating sum of money for victim. Numerous idol are giving their help such as YG entertainment’s artists, Shinhwa’s Kim Dongwan, Lee Minho, Triplets’s father actor Song Il Kook, Girls Day, SM Entertainment’s artists, actress Park Shin Hye, skater Kim Yuna, and many more.  Currently, actor Lee Minho is donating for victims in the name of his fanclub.
